Nigeria v scotland preview

The first of many nigerian world cup friendly or frenzy games is nearly apon us
So what are the main points
main thoughts
and just things we want to see

How are we going to line up

Is the "big boss" going to go with tried and bleed in the new players?
is he going to switch goal keepers at each interval as he did in the Italy game?

What we want to see

We want to see our new players and our fringe players we want to see if ejike and if babatunde is worth a call  up.

Odemwingie

We want to see him in this game. Some may say he has to start but i would like to see his temperament if he come on as a sub. Not that he comes and strolls into first team but to see if he really has that hunger and if he can be something different for the latter stages of a game.
Also will he score today or assist?

Joel obi
I want to see him start. Period this is one of the players we have been clambering for.
But can he handle the pressure? Can he be the third man? Is he what we have been missing?
Is there a better game and a better way to announce yourself to the Nigerian faithful, than to steal the show against scotland?

Victor Moses

Can you be this victor moses?
After the anfield foolishness you are once again given a stage to produce heroics,we want to see you twisting those defenders like you did with the ethiopians, italians etc.
Be the superstar we know you can be.

Main thoughts

Musa

Musa most would say he is going to the mundial. But with the increase in midfield and attacking options could he become the next ideye?
I fear musa needs and undoubtedly good game especially if osaze comes back like a griffon.
Also might we see keshi move musa more central? hmm hmm

Good luck musa.

Uchebo (Kanuesque)

Can he carry over the goodwill and feeling he has gotten from the fans for his halftime performance against mexico. Will he be given a midfield role or a strikers role? Will he start or come from the bench?
Will he be given more showcase time?
Will he partner ameobi like dike did against italy?
Or is keshi saving that?

What we want to see

Goals
We want to see goals and attacking flair.
We want to shots long sand close.
Will we find out if the burden can be released from emenike shoulders?
Will osaze, babatunde, ejike etc grab this opportunity with both hands
we also want to see

Dribbling
Skill flair and hunger.
like the first half against Mexico but more.
We want to see swagger but not arrogance.

Thinking points

I said it before but the set up is going to be key, for the game and the fans.
Some players they want to see like Joel obi, Osaze heck some are coming for Yobo.
How does he approach it does he show his hand, with a new mixed with an old team?
Is Mikel going to be risked or is this the game we try to see if another player can fit or attempt to fit in the slot?
Do we go three, four or two up front?
Flood the midfield or come with a new formation.
This game will be judge and juror for many people.
Also after this game there is not much time before you have to give in your 23 man squad list.

Mba and oduamadi

Floating around on the internet is that mba and oduamadi have either arrived late for the camp or will be arriving late for the camp.
Which may not bode well for both players who from once being pivotal/exciting  prospects to being on the fringes.
If they do not start it may be the end of the world cup for them.
They both missed the last friendly and with reinforcements being brought in the positions they play in and them not really being utility players it may just ease the coaches hand to cut them from the list.
For oduamadi especially if osaze does well or ejike gets a run in it will not look good for him.
Same with mba with joel obi, uchebo and ramon azeez potentially in for game time if mba does not start i do not see him coming off of the bench.
With some corners saying afcon was his tournament and he has already peaked. Now with his late comings may have played into the doubters hands.
