and because of the suggestion of increasing the number of participants in the next tournament
but this is when it gets sour

right now it is a 32 team tourney

• AFC: 43 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths, playoff to determine exact number. 4 certain berths with 5th to play CONMEBOL's 5th in a home-and-away series to determine who will qualify.
• CAF: 52 teams competing for 5 berths
• CONCACAF: 35 teams competing for 3 or 4 berths, playoff to determine exact number. 3 certain berths with 4th to play OFC's winner in a home-and-away series to determine who will qualify.
• CONMEBOL: 9 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths, playoff to determine exact number. 4 certain berths with 5th to play AFC's 5th in a home-and-away series to determine who will qualify. In addition, Brazil automatically qualifies as host.
• OFC: 11 teams competing for 0 or 1 berth, playoff to determine exact number. Winner plays CONCACAF's 4th in a home-and-away series to determine who will qualify.
• UEFA: 53 teams competing for 13 berths

and this is the sour truth some europeans are in uproar when they already stand at nearly half the possible amout of places

and they do not think it is madness 52 teams competing for 5 berths

or 43 for 4 or 5 

when uefas 53 get 13 

and ofc are not even guaranteed a spot

and if many persons are in such a fuss about expanding then why not decrease and everyone get 5 berths 

and i have seen many skating the line of being pc 

and not trying to say african nations and the like are crap

and that is why europe should have those places 

but why should certain teams be given easy access 

or why should certain big teams miss out

well that is already the case for 

caf and afc

egypt

who have until recently dominated in africa

yet like sweden and portugal

was faced of with a fellow giant being
